Istanbul,TURKEY x Architecture & Spaces (2011)

Spent a whole month in Turkey with Ferda and her family during Ramadan. Turkey has been by the most magical place I have ever been in my entire life. I still recall exact details about walking through mosques, spending the whole day walking through the entire city on foot, biking on the Prince Islands… so beautiful.

Turkey (2011)
Good Food, Better People

Turkey is well-known for their delicious Turkish delights, kababs, manti, fresh salads and herbal olive oils; but it’s even better when paired with healthy dose of family.

Mérida & Progreso, MEXICo (2012)

Mérida used to be an economic hub for rope production from the local agave plants (the other strain that’s not used in tequila). Nowadays, this picturesque capital of the Yucatan Province is a cultural epicenter that artists flock to for this eclectic and affordable area. Progreso is an adorable beach town that’s just a 30-minute bus ride away.

Tokyo and Nikko, Japan (2009)

A trip to Japan with my lab mates. Tokyo is intense, energetic, with non-stop action. Nikko is such a serene town around a lake formed from the remains of a volcano. Oh and I got to celebrate my 21st birthday here too!
